Roadside Interview

In this course, we will guide you through effective roadside interview techniques and help you master the art of communication during traffic stops. You’ll learn how to clarify questions calmly and clearly, and how to read subtle behavior indicators that may suggest deception—or even a potential threat to officer safety.

Our training will include:

• Reading Body Language & Eye Contact: Understand non-verbal cues that may indicate nervousness, dishonesty, or aggression.
• Recognizing Behavior Changes: Learn how shifts in a driver’s demeanor or driving behavior—both during the stop and while the vehicle is in motion—can signal risk.
• Interview Techniques: Ask the right questions the right way, and interpret answers for inconsistencies or signs of evasion.
• Officer Safety Cues: Spot pre-attack indicators such as gestures, scanning, or defensive body positioning.
• Real-Life Video Analysis: Watch and break down actual traffic stop footage to see how body language and tactical positioning can impact the outcome—and potentially save lives.

This training is about more than procedure—it’s about survival, situational awareness, and developing the instincts that keep you alert, in control, and safe.
